QuoteZooey Right. I am always amused by how freely people throw away other people's money. You don't become one of the richest people in the world by treating $15 million like sofa cushion money. And I will say this about Kroenke: from what I have read about him, and what I have seen in the way he pursued buying the Rams, and the way he pursued Los Angeles, the man makes long term plans, aby govane - RamsFootballFans.com
I doubt an experienced OC will ever work for Fisher. The most experienced OC he's ever worked with was Schott. And Schott left Fisher before his contract was up to work in a college program. Fisher is a control freak and an OC killer. 3 diff OC's with the Rams. Same sorry results. Go Fisher!by govane - RamsFootballFans.com
ED reiterated this morning on 710 ESPN that he's not on the Rams payroll. And if he owed the Rams anything for them to send him a bill, and that he'd be happy to pay it. He did mention that Rams gave him passes to be on the sidelines, but he didn't really need them because he has his HOF badge.by govane - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSunTzu_vs_Camus it wasn't!! Refs have been throwin bad Holding calls on him all year. Some, GR deserved...but my gosh... QuoteRams_81 Does anybody have the Az Hakim flip to Trung Canidate play on video that could post it? Having some Rams offense withdrawal. QuoteRampage2K- And the fans hate him.... That statement epitomizes what he is as a coach. It's too bad these players he protects let him down time after time. QuoteGreatRamNTheSky Kroenke has never been a hands on owner who interferes with the daily operations of the football team as say Jerry Jones does. So, I am not sure why he would start now. Not discounting your knowledge. Seems to me that you know a lot about the game. But if Mo was more talented than Mcleod and TJ is such a disaster, how come Mo never broke the starting lineup until TJ got injured and Mcleod left the team. Also, wouldn't a safety covering the just deep half of the field have less responsibility than a safety covering deep middle. I just feel like Mcleod wby govane - RamsFootballFans.com
Wilson's cap hit during his first three years combined cost the Seahawks only $2M, and Wilson helped the Seahawks make the playoffs all three years with two SB berths. Goff on the other hand has a cap hit of over $5M just for his first year and cost the Rams a ton of draft picks, but is still sitting on the bench in week 9 behind Keenum who has one of worst passer ratings for a starting QB.by govane - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteno name This is silly. The pointing out every boom player and putting it on the Rams without explaining how they are to get them is the boiling point. Life is variables. Hey Bob, thanks for response. I think the diff is Raiders kept their picks and got hits on key positions. And the coach who was with the team during those failed FA acquisitions is no longer with the team. And now the Raiders are winning. I just think it's time for a regime change for the Rams. QuotePHDram Without arguing details I agree that some mistakes were made but you seem to imply that the rams make more personnel mistakes then most. I'm not entirely sure that is accurate in terms of the Snead regime. For instance while I wanted jj I thought and still think mccleod was expendable. The mistake IMO was signing the TN corner. The players listed don't really matter. Jenkins and Mcleod are obvious, but you could plug in any FA's or rookies. Point was that the recent mistakes by this regime were really costly for 2016 which cost us about up to 8 key players that could've been on this 2016 roster. Problem with that is that Fisher doesn't really have a good track record in terms of a passing offense. So a change from Fisher is probably good for Goff.by govane - RamsFootballFans.com
I never root for the Rams to lose. And I too will call it as it is if Fish ever turns this ship around. Problem is, it doesn't sting any more when the Rams lose. We have lost so much, that it doesn't surprise me when they lose anymore. I almost half expect it. Up 10 pts. yet we lose to the Giants. How many times has that happened in the last couple of years. I wouldn't insult the Broncos offense as much by attaching Fisherball to their team. Kubiak had two 1,000+ receivers last year. Broncos has had two 1,000+ yard receivers going back to 2012. Fisher on the other hand thinks that anyone who thinks he needs receivers do not know anything about football, and Fisher hasn't sniffed a 1,000 yard receiver since Bennett in 2004. I see where you are coming from. But I think that's not enough. Fisher has had some high first rounders at QB, yet their career QB rating with him are in the low 80's. QuotePHDram I thought I'd use the Fisher hater tactics. That's funny right der. Last time McNair had a good year was 13 years ago. I'm pretty sure the game has changed a bit since then. Plus, McNair was a 3rd overall pick who had two above average seasons out of 11.
