QuoteRamgator Talk about a guy who paid his dues in some VERY lean years. And NEVER complained! His taking on half the Niners defense alone is my favorite highlight during the LONG drought. Gator, My all/time fav Rams RB! was thinking the same thing 2 weeks ago. Would love to see the Rams retire his jersey!by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
Through 7 games, it seems he has top billing, but I'm taking 1 game at a time. I'm going to enjoy our by week, savour being 5-2. Then worry about the Giants. Want to focus on bring 6-2. All the potential accolades will come I'd we continue as we have beenby BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
UK, In the 4th QT I was thinking the same thing, the Oline is the MVP this far in the season. Outside the Rams, I don’t watch enough of the NFL, stil think they are a legit playoff contender. Not sure if I would call them a top 5/6 team, but am confident they are a top 10. Still, IMHO, this is the best game of the year. Which is a follow up to their prior best game of the year againstby BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
Outside of two bad dumb plays, almost int by Goff and the sac prior to Zeurlines FG before the half, the team played impressively! Seemed like we imposed our will on the Cards with our last TD drive. Very impressive!by BeachBoy - Game Time Forum
B&G, I agree, we need to score a TD, but qualms being up 0-6! We are playing well enough to win!by BeachBoy - Game Time Forum
Been loving reading about Houstons rookies QB sensation Watson, but think Brissett has played quite well especially given his circumstances. With no team trading for Jimmy Garoppolo during the offseason, it seemed as though Jacoby Brissett would spend the 2017 largely in obscurity deep on the Patriots bench. A suspension to Tom Brady coupled with an injury to Garoppolo early in theby BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
43, Looks like we are of the same ilk on the Cards game. I think we can, and prob. will win but far from a good thing. Our Dline against O line is a big boost in our favour, especially with AD on the team. My hunch, we bottle up AD this will hamper the Cards passing game, Yet, easier said than done. Wade seems to have the D playing at a much higher level the past couple of games. Thisby BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
With Watkins joining us 2 weeks prior to the start of a season, I not overly concerned (yet!) about his lack of production. we have a new HC, O system and and 2nd year QB. Overall things seems to be jelling for the team, but may take a few more weeks for Goff/Watkins to develop a chemistry.by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
If you take into acct most major websites, I think our overall ranking avg 9/10. NFL.com having us as #3, as encouraging as that sounds, is a tad high IMHO. Each weeek I believing a bit more that we are clearly trending up. For the 1st time since the GOST I think we have a legit chance at being in the playoff hunt the final 1/2 weeks of the season. I can buy using being in the top 10, butby BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
Being aware that I don’t know much, only what I read online, I’m glad Snead wasn’t canned in the off season. From everything I heard, Fisher had the final say on all aspects of player acquisitions. If this is true, the Fisher is ultimately responsible from who is on the roster/practice squad. Seeing how McVay, Philips & Snead have done a great job with the draft and FA seems to show weby BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm definitely concerned. We are still learning how to win. I think we have a legit chance to win this game. For me, the key is AD. If we minimise his presence, I think we definitely win. He looked great against an average, at best D. Curious to see how AD, at 32, responds to last weekends heavy workload. The only way to win this game is for us to earn it!by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
At the start of the season I had no idea how they would do. Now, I can see them winning somewhere between 8-10 games. The biggest thing, as per usual, are injuries. We stay injury free to core players, we might win 10. Having said this, we looking to be trending in the right diretion. I like with McVay and his coaches are doing. 5 of 6 games we score 20 or more. Our D has played well theby BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
It wasn’t the pretties win, but we won by 10. After they reached 14 pt, with 6 to go in the 1st, they only get a Field goal the rest of the game. Thought our D, outside of the 75 TD run, was exceptional. Our ST was also exceptional. Gurley an the Oline (run) were also excellent considering who we played. Goff’s stats weren’t great, but he played well enough! 6 games in, this is fav win!by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
Win the TO battle & no ST snafus and we win. GregZ will need to be money!by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
I’m still not sure we are a playoff team. I’m waiting for the D to how up for a full 60 minutes. I’m sold on McVay as an OC, but the jury is still out on him as a HC. So far, I think he is doin a great job, but waiting to see how him and Wade pan out. Baring injury, which is always the case, I think we win at least 8 games. If our D reverts back to last season form, I can see at least 1by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
ST were nothing short of stellar! Now, just need Wade to fix our D!by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
Horns on the helmet looks great!by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
Dude looks amazing so far this year, with plenty of help from the O line.by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
even the the Blue & Whites will most likely only be with us until we move into our new digs, I'm looking forward to seeing B&W jerseys. The gold on the jersey's looks pretty bad!by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
Gotta give credit where credits due! They were aces today! QuoteSuh-weet! Johnny H - 2 punts, 54 yd. average, both inside the 20. Punt coverage recovers the bobble at a crucial juncture. The Leg goes 7 fer 7, staying PERFECT on the year on FG's and extra points. Gives Dallas return team nothing on kickoffs. PC gives Rams a 60+ yard return to set up a stay-in-the-game field goal. Just not confident our D can stop their run game, but seriously hope I'm wrong!by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
It was the play o our Special Teams. Considering the number of plays they had, they were impressively bad! I'm just saying, if our ST played a good game, it would not have been so close. 1. Offsides on a 4th down on 9ers second possession - Lead to a TD. 2. Muffed punt gives them the ball at our 11 - lead to a FG 3. KIckoff goes out of bounds, gives them the ball at their 40 - can't remembby BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteNewMexicoRam The Rams will need to beat a bunch of teams that have actually won some games. So far, we haven't. Good point, good reality check! All I'm lookin to is next weekend. Would love to be 3-1 after 4 games, but has Chris Berman used to say, That' why we play the game!"by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
Since the start of the Fisher era, the Rams have consistently played solid D and stellar Special Teams (ST). At the same time, our O was stuck in a continual rut! Lat nights game was the opposite. Our O wa lights out, we put up 40+ for the second time in 3 games. Not quite the GSOT, but an impressive turn around so far! The D was, for a second week in a row, not good! Hoyer was still in his throwing motion, I was also surprised it wa a flag. There was a similar play later in the game that was not called.by BeachBoy - RamsFootballFans.com
