I think you make a good point. I think the reality is that McVay is much better than our offense. If he can be out schemed, then we don't look so good, yet. If it is just up to the players to make plays, we are not there yet. Brady is. We are not. One day, that will change, and I think it is changing slowly. But, it will take some time, I suspect.by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
We have a huge Case Keenum advantage... its called Aaron Donald. Case watched Aaron in practice daily, and Aaron is sitting right in the middle of cases head. He is going to be antsy all day long, and much less effective because of it.by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
I think you mention a key point. We have a great point differential, mostly agains weak opponents. Now, if we can maintain it against the stronger opponents, we are onto something like '99!by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, he is really good, at some things. He is a little like a Fran Tarkington to me. But I have to say, he was stupid lucky that that long pass last night to Baldwin was completed. That pass had everything wrong with it: it floated, was across his body, was in the vicinity of the defensive back, who just got uncoordinated for a second and stumbled at just the right time, other than that,by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, I can't think of any world class track athletes that went into pro football to play defense. But there are tons of them that went WR.by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
You have to look at Deion Sanders, Darrell Green... but then you have James Lofton, etc on offense. I think Offense wins when it is all said and done.by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
Second is Phillips, third is Snead, fourth is Whitworth. McKvay has brought a new energy, accountability and attitude, a great group of teaching coaches as well as a great offensive system and style. Phillips brings swag, and a great defensive system and the ability to teach it. Snead brought in a great group of free agents, every one of them have performed to and above hopes and expectatiby Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams seem one short on D. How did the play turn out?by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
As much as I despise the Patriots, it shows what an amazing job billicheat has done. He looses coaches and just keeps winning. Jerk!by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
I am glad that is Mrs. Hekker, she has a ring, Johnny was going to get into hot water if she wasn't attached to him.by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with you. Put Donald on a better team, and he instantly has a greater impact on the game outcome. A game changer only changes the game when the rest of the team is doing the things needed to make a difference. What good is a forced turnover, if your offense looses 15 yards and punts in three downs anyway. If he were on almost any other team, he would be a bigger game changer. Yeah, the Auburn connection failed in that draft big time!by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
It did rain a lot in LA, but it didn't rain for a year. There is some kind of game going on...by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
I liked to Bob and Weave. It was a team effort, just like a touchdown is. What I despise is the individual running away from his teammates, and then doing a dance that draws attention to him, not the team. The Bob and Weave was a team dance. Had class and was fun to watch. Most of these other so called dances... not in my book...by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
I feel ya 43. Great story! You have to admire a guy who won't quit.by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
"Kupp was incredible in college but it was small school opponents and he's a rookie." I keep hearing this, and although it is true, he has a handful of games against Pac 12 teams, and some of them good pac 12 teams, and he killed them. He didn't only do okay, he buried them. His numbers didn't drop, if anything they peaked. If we are really looking at his performance against top comby Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
I believe the Chargers are going to rue the day they got in bed with Stan...by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice article. I agree. I think Woods is going to be one of the biggest contributors to a turn around for this offense. And, the bigger year he has, the bigger year Kupp will have!by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not sure they are depending on his hands getting better. They just need a deep threat, someone that can get deep quickly and has to have help covering him deep because the DB may not be able to keep up. The threat has to be taken care of by the Defense. Even if they don't think he can catch the ball, they still have to cover him. And, that is what McVay is counting on. Spread the D out,by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
I think this is a good post, the catch will be how long it takes everyone, offense and defense, to be able to play full speed in the new systems. It seems that a new system is always an impediment to success for the first year, as well as a contributor to success. If, and to me it will be a mark of how good our coaches are, they can get up to speed early this year, it will be an exception to thby Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
That's one way to get him more room at the line of scrimmage. But, he'll have to catch a few for it to last.by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
It has also been a long time since we had a receiver who could track the ball well and compete for the ball and win. This group all seems to track the ball really well, go up and snag the ball with authority from any defenders. Goff must be in heaven... for now.by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
You are incredibly subtle as a spiritual advisor. :thumbsup And, I for one am deeply grateful to those on this forum who have the hobby of being scouts. I think you are collectively better than the media pundits. Great job, and many thanks!by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
I see the same thing, about drafting the quality and type of player you want. And, the players all seem to have the four pillars, and the vital fifth pillar... they can actually play the game. Spags missed that one.by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
Makes me think of Steve Largent... Ricky Proehl... Fred Belitnekoff... you can only hope...by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
We would never have gotten Marshall if we still had Bettis. In that way it was genius!by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
What a nightmare come true. He is in my prayers.by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
He's one of the good guys... even if he plays for one of the bad guys. Thanks for the info on him. I was wondering about him last night.by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
It makes Demoff more powerful. Snead is beholden to him, its now two on one in any disagreement McVay. Demoff is getting more powerful.by Ramdom - RamsFootballFans.com
