I'd like that idea.....by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Ten, try to trade Dak.....But, his contract sucks so they won't find a team to take over Dak and his $$$$$$.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Gotta love the first 2, and that's what I'm thinking as well. WR's are deep.....Edge at #19 as the draft comes to us and Rams get what they need for D. #19....Laiatu Latu...UCLA ...EDGE #52...Roman Wilson...Mich...WR But, at #83....I go with.....Ruke Orhorhoro....Clemson....DL......Rams like their projects and this guy fills a need as well. Hey buddy......Can't wait for this draft toby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Reggie is back!!!! Now he can be put on those Heisman House commercials......Fight On!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams sit tight at #19......Then select Byron Murphy DT. Then, trade up for C.Robinson.....That's why the Rams have been going to Happy Valley lately.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
At # 19......Rams have choice of. Latu Mims Verse Thomas C. Robinson Perfect scenario!!! Rams have their pick of all 3 Edges.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Plan A...... Trade up in RD1..... 1.Brock Bowers TE Georgia 2. Kris Jenkins DL Micigan Plan B..... Stay at #19.... 1. Brian Thomas WR LSU Trade up to Late RD1 ..... 2. Chop Robinson EDGE PSUby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Out of Oklahoma and I thought he was going to carry the RB load for a good 10 years. Just the RB the Rams needed....Nope!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Nothing wrong with 10 pounds....Better to be in shape rather than being lazy, out of shape and putting on 10 pounds .by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
He's in control of the huddle.....He also thinks like McVay and knows what McVay has on his mind when calling the plays. Man, those plays can get "wordy".by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I can see him in Denver with Payton. Drew Brees made a HOF living doing exactly what Bo Nix can do in the same type of offense. Get the ball out of your hands quickly and into the hands of your play makers....Don't hold it for a sack....Get rid of it and move the sticks. Nix can do that, no doubt in my mind. Seen enough Oregon games to know that this Nix kid can throw the ball and leaby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
He is my favorite as well.....Breaks down film and gets excited....Gotta like that!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
If Verse drops to the Rams, then pair him up with Young and the Rams have a pair of Edge players that can really bring it on game day. Bobby Wagner is still in Les Sneads head...Hahaha.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
IMHO.....RD#1 I prefer offense. McVay knows what he wants to put this offense in DANGER MODE for the rest of the NFL. I go get that "cherry on top" to put the offense in "unstoppable" conversation, regardless of what McVay & Snead decide to add to an already potent offense. Then, go crazy and get all defense for the next 5-7 picks because this defense could get AWESOby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
How many touches does Kelce get in an average day for the Chiefs????? IMHO....Players get touches by what the game plan decides during the week.....Bowers lined up opposite the bunch side of the formation is a handful for any CB and he would actually dominate that scenario because he's big & fast, not a lumbering TE like Mark Bavaro, were talking a TE like Kelce.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not pounding the table for Bowers.....I just woke up from a dead nights sleep and saw him in Horns before I woke up. Like I totally forgot how good this guy is and then "BAM" he was a Ram. Like the Big Guy upstairs was trying to tell me something, so I just told all of you on the board something. I just think McVay could do with Bowers what the Chiefs do with Kelce. Remember..by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay can move Bowers all over the formation and he'll be just fine....He's like an "X" but bigger.....Like 3 Tutu's in one guy Hahahahahaha.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
What about TE Brock Bowers....He's bigger and faster than most of the WR's in the draft. I think it's gonna be TE Brock Bowers.....Just a bigger version of WR, but just a mismatch nightmare like Travis Kelce. Bowers is 6'4 240 & runs 4.48 40yd......I really think you can line him up anywhere, in any formation & he just becomes a problem for any defense.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Ram Fans......TE Brock Bowers, all 6'4" 240....4.48 40yd....Sounds like a WR right? McVay coached TE's in Washington. Travis Kelce....6'5" 250.....4.67 40yd. IMHO.....Brock Bowers could be the guy the Rams are targeting......Nobody is talking about him....It's all WR's & Tackles....Bowers drops, and the Rams pounce on a mismatch weapon that opens up this offense like no oby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
For Odunze? What gives you that feeling? What do you think the price to pay to jump up and get him? Me, I think McVay has his eyes on an offensive player that will turn the offense into a juggernaut. Then, it's a defensive draft after that. After Odunze, I have watched some film on Keon Coleman and Ja'Lynn Polk......These 2 WR's seem to fit Rams perfectly as well. If you were the Ramby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Just sayin'.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I know the Rams won, it was around 1968, my brother and I were about 5 years old. My Dad wanted us to see Roman Gabriel play football before he was retired. When the Rams ran out of the tunnel and we saw those horns on the helmets, we were ram Fans for life.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I have been watching some film recently...... What stands out to me is Chop gets leverage, drives his guy backwards and just collapses that side of the LOS. The guy is strong and his motor keeps going and going. Putting Chop opposite Young really gives our Rams Defense 2 young top notch edge rushers. That's exactly what the Rams need IMHO.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Why? Because McVay want's this offense humming and having a 3 headed monster with Kupp, Puka AND Odunze, it's just to good to pass up. Then, the Rams go to Defense and focus that side of the ball the rest of the way.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm with you....Right now I'll take Bo Nix over Penix. But...........With the Rams and Penix.....He won't be forced to start right away, so that is a HUGE ADVANTAGE with the Rams selecting Penix.....Workout, learn the Offense, put on like 20 pounds of muscle. For me it's Nix, Penix or Rattler......."IF" , and that's a big "IF", the Rams do select a QB then I can see oneby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Just think the Rams have a plan with their 11 picks in this years draft. "IF" players they like drop in RD1, the trader Les will trade down......Then, use those picks to trade back "UP" early RD2 and get great use of those 11 picks!!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
That's why the Rams traveled to Penn St this week to check out Chop. We'll soon see if he impressed our coaches....1 week to go.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
IMHO......I really do not like BLACK when your uni's colors are blue, silver and white. When did this obsession with BLACK in uniform colors happen? Keep the team colors the team colors, it's really not that hard.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I watched that exact same film clip and believe me, Fuaga handled Latu and made it look quite easy. What worries me is the fact that LT's in the NFL are all going to be as good or better than Fuaga, so that does not bid well for Latu.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
One thing i notice with Lloyd, he does not go down on first contact very often. Likes to run between the Guards and has a POP of speed when he hits the hole, and with our interior line, he's gonna slice through that first line of defense. McVay like to throw the ball to the RB's and Lloyd is a bowling ball in the open field.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
