Quotemax It's crazy. So obvious the refs can't control themselves at Lambeau. Patriots get every call, everywhere. Even when they call a Penalty on the Patriots, it's only when they did not get a first down, that way the Refs know the other team will decline the penalty. Be interesting to watch New England vs. Green Bay at Lambeau because that would be so confused, very similar to when theby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLMU93 Rams lead all-time series 17-16 (including playoffs): Kicked our ass twice in NFC Championship games 37-7 in 75 & 28-0 in 78, but got them back the next year in 79 21-19 in Dallas. 78 was a tumultuous season as Rosenbloom hired George Allen mainly because of his record against Dallas, but fired him after two preseason games (unprecedented) and promoted Ray Malavasi, who fiby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
So they keep 7 WR's and 2 running backs? They played Tavon at RB and he's now in concussion protocol, IMO, they won't cut Davis, now I could see them releasing maybe Ejuan Price or the extra OT they just signed Cornelius Lucas, but I would be shocked if it was Davis, I believe they think the kid has huge upside.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Sammy Watkins (concussion) was limited at Wednesday's practice. He suffered a concussion in last week's win over the 49ers. Practicing in any capacity is a step in the right direction, though Watkins must pass the concussion protocol before he's cleared for Sunday's game in Dallas. He'll be a WR3 if he suits up. Sep 27 - 7:05 PM McVay says Watkins and Austin were limited today. Websteby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotemax Pat Haden had very small hands. That was a problem in the rain in 1977 playoffs. But Goff's hands are nowhere near the problem that people are making it out to be. Could not stand Pat Haden and for the life of me could never understand why Carroll Rosenbloom loved him so much?. Knox preferred James Harris and I preferred Ron Jaworski, but Rosenbloom loved the lineage and that heby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotemax Obviously nobody thinks the Rams are any good. Need a signature win Maxie, on the Road against Dallas in Arlington would raise more eyebrows.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
There are many things to be pleased about and a road game against the playoff team will showcase quite a bit. Hopefully Wade will have the defense somewhat fixed as he's in his home state and I'm sure will have plenty of motivation as the Cowboys fired Wade and promoted Garrett. As to the offense, let's hope it keeps rolling as the Cowboy defense will not scare anyone. IMO, the Redskins lookedby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

I have concerns too, yes, he might not have his players, but Wade stated he could adapt and transition. Overall, the defense looks very sloppy and in preseason the Secondary was half way descent, but that is now a glaring issue as well. Overall, enough with the folly & anecdotes Wade, give us some answers because I'm starting to miss Gregg Williams.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteKillrazor Great play by cb Hill to stop the 2point conversion!! That was an accident, if the WR kept going to the corner, he would have been wide open, he went back towards Hill for some reason and the ball hit Hill, I realize Hill first game back, but IMO, he's a tad slow and susceptible to biting on the old give and go.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax . But I will say to Pat Kirwan, take your "2-14, I don't believe in the QB" crap and shove it where the sun don't shine. WTG Maxie, however, all of them are so predictable, they don't do any research anymore because it's frowned upon. Quotemax Really hurt us when he wasn't there for the 1969 run. Allen trading WR Harold Jackson to the Eagles for RB Izzy Lang did not help either, he also included DE John Zook in that deal to Philadelphia, but the Eagles traded Zook right to the Falcons and Zook had a pretty solid career. They did not make one change on the offensive line and guess what? They are having similar results, plus they need a running back that can actually move a pile.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Actually, here IMO, is where Fisher allowed his special team coach John Fassel to choose "his guys." they drafted Zuerlein in the 6th and signed Hekker as a UDRFA. I recall Fisher stating that Fassel was empowered to chose his guys and they were prepared to draft a punter, but Fassel wanted Hekker and they had him wrapped up before the draft was over. Taking nothing away from Florida, but Tennessee under Butch Jones continues to recruit well, but always seems to lose the tough games to upper tier programs...I always expect that program to finally crack the top ten and they never do and this loss will sting, however, great win Jim McElwain and company.by den-the-coach - Bucky's Pub
Quotemax What a shame. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Marino was amazing. If he played now, he'd throw 70 TDs. Sure was, I served with a guy in the military who played with Marino in Pittsburgh at Central Catholic High School, Marino had the quickest release I've ever seen and the Dolphins could never fix that defense after all those years having a great one.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteGreatRamNTheSky Yah, he dropped some but he was not as bad at that as many of the other Rams receivers were. Grits I concur solid and very good run blocker as well, however, IMO, the key for Britt was not to overpay, seemed to be an issue in Tennessee and I understand Britt took the highest offer, but you think he would want to win. Look for a Quarterback Change in Cincinnati to try to spark that offense, but the loss of Whitworth & Guard Kevin Zeitler has hurt that team in so many ways and agree that Marvin Lewis will be in his last year and might just retire to save some face.
