I still have not. BUT… I watch a lot of games on TV… and on TV I gotta believe that's the 'prettiest' darn ballfield in the USA.
So from my perspective it's odd that SF would have the best looking baseball stadium and the ugliest football stadium.
BTW… my favorite Baseball stadium I can't even tell you the name of it…. I saw it from the road, and it was in Iowa. Probably a AAA team, I don't know. It was built the way baseball stadium SHOULD be built, if that makes any sense.
As a teen, I froze nearly to death many a summer afternoon watching the worst baseball team in the NL, the SFGiants when I would cut school and take the ball park express (.25 each way) to watch batting practice and a to catch a foul ball or 2 (Or 5 foul balls on the day only 748 people showed up for a day game.)
30 years later, I nearly cried the first time I stepped off of the Golden Gate Ferry that dropped us off near the out center field wall and stepped inside this wonderful, beautiful, ballpark.
All those brutal nights at Candlestick - no more.
Best of all, 316 Billion privately funded dollars to construct and build the park, so the team gets the profits.
