HERDfest 2004, Candlestick Park Pics

Also, "BanjoMan" a fixture at 49er games for about 30 years who San fRam talked into posing for a pic with us after the game. (I think "BanjoMan" only bathes on gameday. Phew!)

It was a Sunday night ESPN game which the Rams won 24-14, with SF getting a couple of garbage time TD's in the 4th Quarter.

We even drank a few beers and threw the rock around with some SF fans in the parking lot after the game.

BTW, with a couple of minutes left in the game, I walked down to the area where the players exit the playing field and as the final gun sounded, I saw this huge, muscular dude exiting the playing field and I thought "Who is that guy ? He should be playing LB"

After a closer look, I noticed his number - # 39. Man, that dude is in some serious shape and not an ounce of fat on his 6'3", 235 lb. muscular frame. A true physical specimen and even more impressive when seen from about 10' - 15' away or so. TV doesn't do him any justice. The guy is a freak and will be hard to replace.

How I would have loved to see him running behind the Rams OL of the '80s.
