watching the one where you don't replace a starting Super Bowl winning QB with a career 3rd string backup, just because we have a sieve of an O-Line and no running game.
So we obviously see both Stafford's ability and Wolford's ability vastly different. No probs....
I see the flow of the game.. and the way it was being called on both sides of the ball as well as the way Stafford was seeing things.. something needed to change. If it wasn't McVay, then Stafford needed to take a breather. Not for the whole game but for a series or two. Whether Perkins or Wolford, needed a change of pace. The play calling wasn't conducive to Stafford and he wasn't responding... so why risk him?
Can see he did nothing in the 3rd quarter and was short arming things. So, do you want to take that goose egg.. or do you want to try something different?
