I also noticed that when Wolford threw, the target was usually on the other side of the yardage needed to get a 1st down most of the time. So when the receiver caught the ball, we got the 1st down. I have no stats to back it up, but it seems like Goff throws the ball short many times and then it's up the receiver to get those additional yards with his legs for the 1st down. Many times it doesn't happen because the receiver gets tackled or stopped. That was a nice change to see today. And the deep throws... wow. Put some excitement back into the game for me.
