He’s not playing well
I have absolutely no faith in him at all. He's flustered and can't read a defense right now. Quick screens and no-read, quick hitters are all he can complete right now. Dude's totally lost it and it isn't like he was rock solid before. There have been many times McVay has had to take the ball out of his hands and we're stuck with that as a regularity now.
I thought he would get into a rhythm with that 2 minute drill and dumping off some easy completions but this guy can't complete a tough pass at all and is playing scared to make a mistake.
Rams will have a great regular season record but fold in the playoffs again if the last 3 weeks are any indicator.
It's really disappointing that Goff basically hasn't progressed from last year and if he's peaked, Rams will have to really consider whether to give him a big contract or just go with another draft pick on the cheap.
