Teams have adjusted and are playing two high safeties as mentioned on the telecast. It is up to McVay to play that underneath stuff.......this is where he is a bit like Martz, he likes deep options. He has to be patient.
On the shorter routes (swings to Gurley, screens to Woods, etc.) they work......it just takes patience.
Teams are testing MCVAY at this point...... what is he willing to do? Will he dink and dunk down the field?
We are going to learn a lot about McVay here.
As for the defense......well.....frankly, its a bottom of the league defense. Doesn't bode well in the playoffs.
