It's more than the 8 in the box issue. It's about movement and reaction.

A defense reacts. And it reacts according to its expectations.

The more that the offense conforms to the defense's expectations, the easier it is for each defender to read and react, to pursue, to instantly do the right thing.

It's when you get a defense guessing, wrong footed, that they become much easier to block.

This is a systemic problem, and OL can't solve it by themselves.
