I was at the one yard line and so were the Rams, on 4th down.
Namath hands the ball off, up the middle, and the Bears stuffed it.
A FG there would have been enough to eventually win the game.
Final was 24-23 Bears.
Just don't give away points when you are behind or tied. Got a 7+ point lead, that may be a consideration, but even then, I'd then towards the FG.
