There simply is no pass protection. Period. It's been that way for a long time. You don't build an offense w/o insuring you have a good pass protection. The Rams have failed time and time again in this area. Sometimes it's not been there fault with injuries but tonight it's clear how important in a pass first league you need pass protection. Put Brady in there and he gets killed too.
I've said it every since I've been on this board. Sid Gillman one of the greatest coaches in all of professional football said if you are going to build a good competitive team in the NFL you START with an O line. Next you build your defensive secondary. Then you begin to worry about your skill players but not until the other issues are developed first. Fans today don't like to hear that because all they see and want are the skill guys.
BTW: Quinn is not and may never be the force he used to be. Ono on on and he gets pushed away from the pocket. Tavon goes down when you fart. Gurley will never be a back who breaks tackles-he needs space (can you say O line)
