Making/not making playoffs

I go back and forth on whether it's a big deal if we make the playoffs.

On the one hand, is it really a huge loss if we miss out on losing to the NFC East winner or San Francisco in the first round?

On the other, it IS an opportunity to shock the world like we did in 76, 79, 89, 04 and three years ago. AND even losing that first game can serve as a catapult to success the next season. See last year's Eagles and our team in 2017.
