Right where my "A" post meets the roof, I have a crack with rust. It has created a slow leak that has wet the interior padding / cloth. Gonna cost $250 just to see to what extent the damage is. I have two options.......The easy one is a quick patch over job but it will not remove the rust (That will eventually spread) OR...It can be cut out totally which is gonna be more extensive. Have any of you had a similar repair? I'm curious to know the round about cost. If it's crazy expensive, I have to weigh options. I was hoping to keep the car about another 5-6 years. I bought it new in 2011....A Nissan Sentra.

I have never had body work done outside of three MVAs and those were covered by insurance. This will not be. And I have ZERO clue how much body repair is.
