Want to add...

First, no, I'm not a better fan than you, Todd. I get VERY caught up in the World Cup due to a few of you guys who got me into it. RamUK, our foreign exchange students Dad from Switzerland... a couple other European friends of mine. I think a lot of my love for the World Cup is vicarious ALTHOUGH... every year I become more and more of a real fan.

Also... I know a lot of the young ladies at our High School that play AND... are very good and competitive... qualifying for "State" championships. In fact... my 2nd oldest grandson's girlfriend, (no doubt they'll wed one day), was the goalie for our HS team.... experiencing the matches thru her excitement was fantastic.

Then there is this: I don't care which sport it is.. Curling, Jai Alai, Polo... if it's a major championship I'm INTO it.
