Used to be a game that anyone could register to play. They had a pitching machine launching footballs like Punts. One year.....I'm thinking this was 22-25 years ago, the winner was a lady at LEAST 65 years old. I remember they showed her during her pre game ONE warm up catch. She caught it. It knocked her on her but then back but she caught it! DURING THE ACTUAL ATTEMPT, with everyone in the stadium REALLY pulling for her........Those A HOLES launched the ball a good 15-20 yards OVER her head. The poor lady tried to back step but had ZERO chance. The crowd went freaking nuts and unleashed BOOS at the Dr Pepper guy as he gave her a check for $500 instead of the $10,000 prize. I recall even the TV guy slamming them and saying, rather irritated...."DESMOND HOWARD could not have caught that ball!!"
That was SO wrong!
