to go see the movie "Fame" when it came out in 1980. We had been following press releases regarding the making of the movie and both of us had a keen interest because we had friends who had attended Julliard.. (not the same school the movie was based on but the same curriculum).

It did not disappoint. Irene Cara was great... as was the entire cast. That was the last time I saw that movie.
