if you didn't see Argentina vs Mexico skip this.

Mexico is very well supported around here... and it's fun to watch. I've been fortunate to be IN other countries when their team was playing in the WC... and I'm not sure Americans can appreciate the fervor fans bring to the games. Around here Mexico has the most fans, by far... BUT... a few households are all in for Portugal, Spain, Italy (my choice), Germany.... I'd say those are the most represented here but there are a handful fans supporting other countries. ALL of them equally supportive of their team.

So there is sadness today around here as Mexico falls to Argentina. I'm one of them. Love Argentina but I wanted Mexico. - JamesJM
