At Patriot's Point SC, just North of Charleston....Where the USS Yorktown and USS Laffey are. I was on that Sub and felt uneasy just THINKING about being hundreds of feet under the Ocean and the enemy dropping depth charges??? HELLLLLL NAW!!!!! LOL I remember telling my Dad the first time we went on board back in the mid 80s...... If I saw even condensation on a bathroom mirror, I'd scream... SURFACE!!! SURFACE!!!! Dad cracked up!
By the way..... Modern Subs? The ONLY reason they have to surface is to reload provisions. Other than that, they can stay down forever............................................... COUNT! ME! OUT!!!
