I met Marilyn Monroe....

Well, no I didn't. I'm lying... but I came close. I met Jayne Mansfield. She came to Fresno for Jerry Lewis's telethon and I was performing.... lets see...

I met Jayne and also Amanda Blake... know her? "Gunsmoke". I met some other stars at that telethon but I can't remember who.

We have a common 'star meeting'... Robin Williams. Remember Pam Dawber? Starred with Robin in Mork and Mindy... well Pam was my friend's wife's good friend. They modeled together in their youth. In another thread I mentioned her... she's the one I'm helping to sell her husband's drum gear. She had a party here in Tranquillity and yeah... can you believe it? Pam AND Robin came to Tranquillity.

I met them both a second time as well when I picked up my friend and his brother at Pam's apartment in LA to go to a RAMS GAME!!!! Whoa, that was a scene from "The Walking Dead"... I showed up early in the morning at Pam's house and she had had a party the night before... that's why my friend and his brother were there. There were bodies EVERYWHERE. Pam looked ok... but the others? Whew. I didn't get to say Hi to Robin during that meeting.... he was unconscious on the floor. - JamesJM
