After having to make an 80 mile round trip to see every other doctor I ever went too, (minimum), is simply sublime. So much so that...
i don't care if he's a quack.
Anything major I won't be going to him anyway.
This morning I had an appointment at 9:15. I left my house at 9:10, and arrived early! By 9:30 I was home having a late breakfast.
Also... no more hassles getting my medications on time. No more salesmanship trying to make me buy herbal concoctions of seaweed, pickled herring, and badger's pubic hair brewed in my old doctor's brother-in-law's shed.
I'm still weirded out by it all, however... to walk in a building in my hometown that was built post 1912 and has a public restroom? To see people wearing uniforms to work? To see posters on the walls regarding health stuff that I don't understand at all? It's weird.... but very, very, convenient.
