I didn't see Star Wars in the theater.. my first taste of the series was Empire Strikes Back when my best friend DRUG me to it telling me how badazz it was gonna be.. and he wasn't kidding.. I was thoroughly impressed with the magic I saw in that flick, so somehow I watched Star Wars, afterward..

Later, in '83 or so, my brother and I pooled our money and bought a $175 VHS system and life completely changed after that.. That's all we did - tape stuff and watch tapes constantly..
