It's not really a 'game'... it's a scrimmage with full pads and contact. Only our own team is on the field playing each other... but it is considered the kickoff to the season.

It's going to feel 'good'... back up the stairs into the bleachers... nachos and coke in hand... umbrella (maybe a canopy) to provide shade and hopefully some relief from the blistering heat... friends I haven't seen since last season... the sound of Phil's voice (our game announcer)... sights, sounds, smells!

Football is back!

My new Kerman High School Logo'd T-Shirt has not yet arrived... so I'll be in Ram's gear... to the chagrin of all the other fans in the stadium donning their Red Niner gear... or maybe not? I mean, if I remember correctly the Niner's last game didn't go quite the way they wanted it?
