Reading "In Harms Way"..... I was amazed to hear just how clear the Pacific is.

Where they were floating, in some spots, you could see 20-50 feet under water. Like you said, several guys swore they saw the Indy cruising UNDER the water. Multiple guys were seen diving down and never seen again. Another gut wrenching tale was that of one of the Rescue Pilots describing seeing guys being pulled under by Sharks as they were circling to land to get them..
