Ya got me to thinking....

I rarely, very rarely, visit Theme Parks when I'm traveling out of state. I've been to Tokyo Disney and... ummmm, maybe that's it? Well, some small carnivals. My favorites were:

The Beer Tents/Carnivals in Germany during Oct. Fest. Nearly every city/town in Germany has a Beer Festival leading up to the main event in Munich. Those are FUN. Oompah Bands and Lager - does it get any better?

I have never been to Dollywood but I will definitely go if I'm ever in the area. I know a few who have been there and loved it. I'm only going by what I've heard but I think the Mid-West does fairs and festivals better than the east or west of the USA. - JamesJM
