I got lucky... not only is it working BUT.... I can access it from every room in my house. THAT was a semi-big worry for me because currently I use a Eeros Mesh Router with 5 Beacons (extenders), for full coverage in my home.... was ONE router going to work?
There was an option... that is 'supposed' to work - bypass the Starlink Router completely and go directly into the router/mesh system I already have. That's still an option should things go awry BUT...
right now it's working. I think it may be because I'm in the country... no other wireless near to me to interfere? I don't know. I don't have a HUGE home but it's not small either... the master bedrrom is at least 60' feet from the router with two brick walls in-between.
So my review... and if you're in a city don't bother reading another word... you have as fast, or fast enough, now and for FAR less money BUT... if you're rural... I say go for it.
Right now I'm hitting 150mbps. Cost is high to get in... $510 for the equipment and then $110 per month.. unlimited dats. You guys/gals in the city who read this, (you weren't supposed too), just had your adult beverage shoot out your nose realizing what we rural folk pay for internet... but we have few options.
I'm going to keep my old service for a month or so... just to test and be sure, then drop it. HUGE savings, for me. - JamesJM
