Monday morning I'm doing my blood draw for my Physical coming up a week from Monday. For the last 5-6 years, my Fasting Sugar level has been elevated. Not dangerous but could be better. Before I retired, I heard several co workers on the Fire Dept tell me they had the same issue. In fact, my Officer was a guy who drank TONS of water every day and worked out big time. Yet his was still elevated. Personally, I know I can do better diet wise but I'm not constantly cramming junk food and soda down my throat. I get 10,000 steps EVERY day. But yet, I'm still told to get my Fasting sugar down.

Between that and being told to lose weight at 6'5" and 212 lbs, I get frustrated. I know many would love to have such a "problem" but still...... Is it common with you guys?? Are Doctors just going by old standards???
