I'm also 6'5" and frankly question the guidelines for weight. I'm 64 now and my weight varies from 205 to 210 during the year. Back when I was in my late 30s I hit 244 so I started working out 6 days a week and got my weight down to 199lbs. Height / weight chart I recall looking at back then said I was still over weight. I was wearing pants with either 32" or 34" waist, done from 38" ok some were 40".

I don't work out now, just watch my portions and during 2020 learned the following .

If I eat chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce and whipped cream before bed and lose 1/2 lb .
If I eat cereal before bed I gain a 1/2 lb.
If I don't have either my weight remains the same.

No idea why but its been this way for two years now.

  The highest I have ever gotten was 227 lbs....last March as a matter of fact

  OOOH to be in my 20s and 30s again!!!! I was 6'5" and could NOT get higher than 152 lbs.
