Very healthy looking Lion, he/she is eating well... which is probably why we're seeing fewer deer these days.

He/She is not alone either. We know of at least two others roaming the area. There could be even more.

I'm not at all concerned about personal safety... just not in a cougar's character to go after adults. The extremely few exceptions make for sensational headlines but doesn't change the fact that they are not by nature aggressive towards adults .... HOWEVER, small children are another matter. I won't be allowing my grandkids to roam freely.
