never had any problems with mine... in fact, not sure they even worked. I certainly never heard them.
They have a setting for if you have pets... which we do, cats. So I set it for cats... whether or not that works? No idea.
My biggest problems with the motion sensors is that house fans "can" set them off.... so we have to make sure they're off if we're setting the system for "Away", rather than "Home"... Home, obviously, doesn't activate the motion sensors.
It's not activated as yet because I'm got a problem with a couple door sensors... the doors are recessed so the sensors don't line up... I have to figure something out. - JamesJM
