They have become gluttonous fleeceathons. 25 years ago, the guy who took our Photos gave us a "DISCOUNT" because he knew members of my Ex's family. Our "DISCOUNT" rate was close to $2000. And I hear that is NOTHING these days. Also.....My ex Father In Law passed away just 6 months later. This ASS WIPE who KNEW the family and how devastated they were .....HE proceeds to let my ex know that he had 2-3 extra photos of her and her Dad. Then says.....For $80 per 8 X10. It was all I could do to NOT punch him in the mouth.
My Ex had a friend who slammed someone she knew who had a Wedding followed by a backyard BBQ that had paper plates and Slip n Slides for the kids. She called it tacky and stupid. I told her that it sounded FUN and AFFORDABLE and probably a HELLUVA lot more memorable and less stressful than the $20,000 Socialite crap. By the way.....Her friend got Divorced BEFORE we did and got to split about $6500 left over from Wedding costs and the "Tacky" friend of hers is going on 24 years of marriage.
