Mic stands.. the unsung heroes of the extra stuff you hafta buy..

to perform live.. You need mic stands for freaking EVERYTHING.. just more and more expense.. But I only need a boom for vox (and mostly picks) and a small stand for guitar - sometimes two mics for guitar depending on how I feel..

I smashed a guitar my very first time on stage.. was a freshman at the high school who's mascot I'm trying to save.. we had smoke, explosions and I smashed a guitar.. much to the chagrin of the teaching staff.. I smashed another one at a reunion show for my 80's band in '87.. I actually have that on video.. I blew it up while playing it, then smashed it to sh*t onstage.. its a good feeling..!
