Did my walk this morning and about a mile down the road, saw a small dog (6 -7 mo old?) laying on the side of the road by the sidewalk. He had been hit. Someone was kind enough to place a t shirt over most of him. I wonder if it was who hit him? Anyway, I have been wondering if someone is missing a dog and does not know the fate of the poor puppy. I'm a softy when it comes to animals. I have even pulled dead squirrels off the road so they will not get smushed anymore. I just returned from the store about 20 minutes ago. I actually back tracked to where the puppy is. He's still there. I'm hoping the owner will find him somehow or maybe the property owner will bury him.
