I wouldn't have known anything about the Bosch tv series except it was mentioned here in the Pub in a thread where we were discussing good tv shows to watch during the pandemic. Thanks to whoever brought that one up. The Wire has been mentioned several times. IMDB rates it 9.3. I've found that any show rated 8.0 or higher is usually one that is superb and worth watching. Well, RAMbeau and I watched the first 6 shows of The Wire and we just couldn't get into it. I know it's supposed to be an excellent show but we just didn't care for it. We canned it and moved on.
Other tv series we've watched together or are in the process of watching that we never would have watched had it not been for the pandemic:
Friday Night Lights
Gangs of London
Luther
Mare of Easttown
Peaky Blinders
Saints & Sinners
Snowfall
The Big Bang Theory
The Shield
The Undoing
Your Honor
Although we enjoy watching a lot of tv together, we found a few series to watch on our own.
I watched all 14 seasons of Heartland on my own and all 9 seasons of The Waltons including the 7 made-for-tv movies.
RAMbeau watched Mayans MC and Sons of Anarchy on his own as well.
Now that I'm done with The Waltons, I may move on to Hill Street Blues. It aired 30 years ago but I've never seen it.
