I re-watch movies all the time. Even movies I felt so-so about.
But how about re-reading books? I do this much less, MUCH less, than re-watching movies... but I do do it on occasion.
Every other Christmas season I re-read Lord Of The Rings. I've been doing so since the early 70's... and occasionally I have read it two years in a row.
Watership Down I re-read often... but more like every 5 years or so. Not because I like it 'less' than Lord Of The Rings... just that LOTR has become a tradition for me.
The number of books I've re-read is pretty long... BUT, as I said, not even close to the number of movies I've re-watched. - JamesJM
