because yes, they play the same 30-40 songs....when commuting in I could predict them.
I e-mailed them (no joke) and said WTF, does Billy Idol own the station. If I hear White Wedding one more time I'm gonna lose it. Also played things like Blinded by the Light twice a day, Guns and Roses, Free Bird, Huey Lewis, every day, etc. I said how about some variance and real rock artists like Jackson Brown, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Ted Nugent, The Cars (not their late crap, but early)........I said you know, Pearl Jam,Sound Garden, White Zombie and Alice in Chains is now Classic Rock as its not 1991 anymore. They got back to me and said they were in the process of making changes, etc. but never did.
My e-mail got circulated through the station as a few times I received e-mails, by accident, like when a DJ called out sick and a few others.
I stream SiriusXM as they have stations with deep cuts from various eras. I pay $5 a month. I also have Spotify and stream both through my car stereo, home stereo and phone when I do yard work.
