Canada south of California?

You should double check me on this.... because if I'm not mistaken the southern most point in Canada, near Point Pelee, lies south of the Northern Border of California. That is stunning, to me.

We all know the most popular geographical oddity - that Reno is west of LA.... but, and again double check me, this Canada being south of Northern Calif is far more shocking. - JamesJM
