Lately I've noticed that my eyesight using my current glasses isn't quite what it was... nothing VERY off but things were looking a little blurry.... well...
It had been 3 years since my last eye exam, and since I purchased glasses... so I went in today.
It was all good news.... except I do have cataracts but nothing to worry about for now. My vision, however, had only VERY slightly changed and she told me a new prescription might not be noticeable to me.... I got new glasses anyway because mine are slightly scratched..... but here is the big news:
I took some kind of 'new' test.... it detects retinal detachment, (if you have any), but more.... a lot more.... so much more I was quite surprised...
It basically tells you your state of health.... cholesterol levels, heart condition, you name it. ALL from looking at your eyeballs. She started reading off things I've had in the past by simply referring to the 'photo' of my eyes with this new test... and she was DEAD ON THE MONEY RIGHT!!!!
I felt like I was having my palm read, or in a seance.
Apparently it's literally true that the eyes "say it all".
