Mentioned this before....

Tora, Tora, Tora came out while I was going thru training at Fort Monmouth. There still existed, at that time, many WWII vets still serving.

They were all very taken taken with this movie and discussed it often... mostly regarding how accurate it was as far as insignia's, medals, the uniforms, and on and on. Yes, they found a few mistakes but mostly they were in awe of how much they got right.
