We are lucky enough to have a time share in Maui and mom has a place on the Big Island and go at least once a year, except last year due to the shtt show of 2020....

Anyways, just a heads up to anyone planning on going there this year......car rental prices have tripled!!!

Hawaii is expensive enough to go to, but now it's ridiculous.... we used to get a Jeep for like $50 a day through CostcoTravel (which used to be by far the best place to rent cars through) now it's about $140 a day almost $1400 for 10 day stay

I honestly don't know how or why they are allowed to price gouge like that to try and make up for lost revenue, but they're doing it.
