I used to rarely watch subtitled movies because I read slowly. Words get mixed up. But now that my hearing is going, lol.. my wife can't handle the TV as loud as I would like it. So I have gotten better at reading subtitles. So at one point I would have completely passed on Beartown... Now I am looking forward to it.
