"beard itch". That's the #1 complaint... the first few days/weeks can be quite miserable. That's the main reason I cannot understand of the new trend of 'unshaven'.. IOW a few days or a week with the unshaven look. That would drive me insane.

I don't prefer either... shaved or unshaven... BUT... and for the reason you state.. NOT having to shave is wonderful.
