We've lost a number of friends and neighbors to the virus. We've also received our initial vaccine and now wait for about two weeks before the second. The most important thing to remember is to not relax when in comes to all the precautions. Even after the second shot we will still be vulnerable to the virus as a carrier, meaning we could pass it on to someone who is not vaccinated. Masks and social distancing will be the orders of the day for quite some time.
