I had it real bad fairly recently ...one of the more annoying lingering injuries I've dealt with.
In my case sounds similar to yours
I wasn't over golfing by any stretch
couple times a month maybe a couple range trips a month.
Not sure how old a guy you are
Mine got me at 49..51 now.
Bad news is for me it was with me in different levels of pain for about a year. TBH I didn't do much to make it better...I got diagnosis and just lived life. Left elbow for me

Weird...I'm 49 and it's my left elbow too......seems like you have good days and you think it's getting better and than the next day it's back. Been over a month for me.
I had tennis elbow on my right elbow a couple years ago(I don't even play tennis) and it seemed to also take awhile to go away..
Getting old sucks
