I'm not sure why that movie resonates for me so much. It most certainly is not about the sex. That's not even shown. But the power of two separate emotions: The first is the grief, sorrow, , loneliness, and vulnerability of a woman who simply wants to be comforted. The next is the complete innocence of a young boy who is taught that intimacy is not so much about sex as it is about real, honest life.
