I'll finish this afternoon, or evening. Odd novel... liked it, can't say I loved it. Strange happenings right now... too far out to be the big 'reveal' but presented as so.. I have a theory. Actually I have two theories, and one of them is very far out there.. if it turns out to be the solution I'll be VERY surprised AND pleased with myself.

This next may be a spoiler, in case you think you might read it.

Long ago, (I've written about this on this board before), I read a "Whodunit" that I had found in a dilapidated house, among the ruins. It was quite old. I can't remember the title or author, (wish to hell I could)... but anyway.... in this whodunit the author flat out TOLD you who 'did it', in no uncertain terms, and then proceeded to stump you... or least did me.

I highly suspect this novel is similar, and perhaps exactly the same. - JamesJM
