Re: Cleaning up yard tomorrow... CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ON SATURDAY!!!!!

November 12, 2020 03:25PM
(LOL!) I actually thought about putting up my lights this week as I have the rest of the week off and we've had unseasonably cool weather (i.e. highs in the low 60's). It typically takes me about 3 - 4 days to get everything up and, invariably, I pick the warmest days to do this which isn't fun).

I took a pass on it, though, as I have workers going in and out of the house on a project.

Is it just your house...or does the block get into the act? I live on one of those blocks where, in addition to our separate homes, we string lights from house to house across the street.

It's to the point where, if you're not starting with your lights by Thanksgiving, the Xmas light gestapo knocks on your door to make sure you're OK.

We have a few neighbors who decorate too. But usually later.
