Why am I always the odd man out?

I don't have a dog in the fight, (NCAA Football). Well, yes I do, Fresno St... but since they never compete for the national title it's like a different world.I have several teams I root for regularly.... but even in a game in which I don't have a favorite I can get caught up in it.... choosing one team or the other for no good reason whatsoever and then rooting from them as if I was a lifelong fan.
